Bethlehem Bible College (BBC) was founded in 1979 as an interdenominational Christian Bible college, located in Bethlehem, Palestine. BBC exists for the purpose of training young Palestinians for church leadership. They are people who model Christ-centeredness, Godly humility, Biblical wholeness, creative mercy and justice in their jobs and ministries as life-long learners. The College seeks to nurture faith, hope and love among its students, which in turn influences their community and world through conscientious and humane social action.
Since its founding in 1979, the College has made tremendous strides forward. The college has been able, through its worldwide associations with Christian organizations, churches and friends to purchase its small campus and add to it a public library, classrooms, a community center and a college guesthouse. The college was also able to purchase an adjacent piece of land for future expansion needs.
Architectural plans are now underway to begin a new student center on the land. BBC would not be what it is today without the faithful giving of committed partners around the world.
Bethlehem Bible College is also unique in that they seek to minister to the local community, through Al Aman Counselling Center, the Shepherd’s Society, and Bethlehem’s public library, which recently opened.
