MA in Transformational Leadership

Ukranian Evangelical Theological Seminary (UETS), Kiev

MA in Transformational Leadership CDN $ 26,000

UETS is an interdenominational institution with a vision to serve the educational and research needs of the Church in the Ukraine and beyond.

This semester the school has launched a graduate program in Transformational Leadership. This program is unique in its area, and is a response to an urgent need for a new image of leadership in the Ukraine and Ex-Soviet republics. It uses a comprehensive approach to three components of transforming leadership:

  • forming the leader’s character according to the image of Christ;
  • developing leadership and management skills, based on Biblical principles of management;
  • creating relationships and coordination between churches and the community, its structures and state departments, based on a biblical model of stewardship.

Theodor Raychynets, the Dean of graduate studies, oversees the program that will bring in both local and international faculty. Most of the students are in mid-career, already providing leadership both in the church and in the marketplace.

Theodor was born and raised in the Ukraine, and is keen to pursue doctoral studies at the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, Czech Republic. He has been a faculty member at colleges in the Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Bosnia. Theodor is one of the new emerging leaders and theologians of the church in Eastern Europe. His doctoral studies will focus on the Justice of the Cross – researching how through the cross justice is found, not in revenge, but in forgiveness.
